September 2022 Real Estate Statistics

The UtahRealEstate.com website has published its September 2022 Market Statistics.  

Total number of homes sold last month were 3,501.

• 2,555 were Single-Family Homes.
• 946 were Multi-Family Homes such as townhomes and condos.

The median sales price for single-family homes sold last month was $554,000. This number was up 8.6% from September 2021.

The medial sales price for multi-family homes sold last month was $405,000.  That number is also up 7.0% from September 2021.

Homes were on the market for 31 days.  That's up 22 days from last months bewteen when homes were placed on the market and when homes were placed under contract.

The median sales price per squre foot was $227.55.

Total Residentail Homes Inventory Listed on the MLS Last September was 5,375 homes.  This month was down at 4,705.
